Wish List Wednesday: Dreaming of Summer

I am loving the "chic" look for summer. Dressing up in high-waisted trousers vs. skirts and dresses seems to be trending. I also really like the accessory choices for summer such as gold arm candy, metallic temporary tattoos, and vintage designer earrings. Pink and black seem to be what is catching my eye - black for sophistication, and pink for the feminine side. Accents of gold as also much needed in this palette!

Modern Pastel Princess

This outfit is more of a modern pop-culture princess kind of look. I have tied in my bubblegum pink beanie with a mint graphic tee, and a white tulle skirt. I love playing around with pastel colours and fun looks for spring. This is a unique look and reminds of a lot of some street style wear I have been seeing on other blogs and in print. My fetch beanie is inspired by the movie 'Mean Girls'.

Side note: Hairspray, lipstick, and may flies do not go well together.

Lacoste Joy of Pink Perfume: I found this on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for only $20 - it's pink - and it smells amazing! So happy I found this for such a great deal. 

Watts Up by Benefit Cosmetics: I am in love with this glowy highlighter. It adds a perfect shimmer to your cheekbones and brow bones! 

DIY Flower Crown: This was so much fun to make and wear in my latest outfit blog post. I got to pick all the flower colours myself, and it turned out even better than planned! If you want to see how I made this, see one of my latest YouTube videos here. 

Mini Eggs: It was Easter earlier this month so how could I not add mini eggs to the list?! I made a super cute nail tutorial inspired by the look & colour of these chocolates too - you can view that here. 

Faux Septum Ring: These things are totally trending right now - so i just had to try one. I picked out a style that is called 'Princess' and I got it off of eBay. You can see how I styled it in my most recent YouTube video here. 

Lime Crime Lipstick: This opaque purple lipstick was definitely worth the long shipment wait! I am very pleased with the quality and the intensity of this shade. It is called D'Lilac. I wore it in a blog post this month so you can see that here.  

B&B Works Shower Gel: I am loving this shower gel - it smells so beautiful and the floral covered bottle remind sme of spring! I love having a good Bath and Body Works shower gel in my shower and I've been using this one daily! See what else I got from Bath and Body Works in my Spring Haul Video .

Ombré Sunset + Glitter Leopard Accent Nail

This nail art look is perfect for Spring and Summer. I included colours of the sunset in yellow, orange, and pink in this ombré effect. Bohemian Flower Princess

I am in love with this boho tunic from eShakti

I actually made this flower crown!!

I am loving these little lace details on this custom made piece!!

This Spring / Summer boho look was inspired and based off of this beautiful custom white tunic from eShakti. I came across eShakti a little while ago, and was pleasantly surprised that not only do they have the cutest dresses and apparel, but you can have them CUSTOM made and sized. With online ordering, sizing can be tricky - so this option is beyond perfect. All I needed was a tape measure and their measuring guide that makes it super simple to get your sizes correct! I submitted each measurement to their carefully labeled form, and my order was placed in seconds. The service they provided to me was nothing but exceptional and once my piece had arrived, I was overly impressed. Everything from the perfect length to the lace details in sleeves - it was beautiful and made just for me - with my exact sizing! The website offers up to 36 W in size, which is awesome!! 

I paired this outfit with a hand made DIY flower crown that I had recently made, and a bold pink lip to match the flowers.
